Number called, no message left.

Scammer asked if they were talking to miss *******(name correct) Phone caller attempting to be from the electricity company.

Caller: Energy compare

Very persistent and rude caller trying to get me to change energy retailers. Even after I told him I wasn’t interested he continued to call back and harassing me.

I had exactly the same thing happen to me today.

How did you fix the issue with your phone ? Or did you have to end up getting an entire new phone number ?

Caller: Claimed he helped us to get a better deal for ??? Did not explain what for. Then became abusive. I told him where to get off.

Caller: Electrity Company

This number called me claiming to be an electricity company to compare and get better deal etc. I told them to not call us again and take our name off their list and to not call after 5. The little b word then called me back and said because I was rude she wasn't taking my number off the list! Needless to say blocked the number

I have been consistently receiving calls from this number but never picked up until today. It was an Indian accent lady who claimed herself to be from AGL which happened to be my provider. Then she said AGL was going to give me some discount before connecting to me to her 'supervisor' who is an Indian accent guy whose voice I recognised - he called many times trying to give me 'better' price before and I know they are scammer. He then spilled out the truth intent - did I want a better deal with other providers(!). I then hang up. Why the law enforcement is not doing anything with these people? Is a phone number in Australia that difficult to trace??

0489 948 836 called me today but I didn't notice as my spam blocker activated. I only noticed it in my history. It appears yo have called me preciously approx 5 other separate occassions since October 23.

Called by a lady with indian Accent, as some company dealing with power companies like AGL, energy Australia, looked like genuine but turned out to be spammer asking for personal details.

this number called today I didn't answer in checking here it appears to be a scammer

I’ve had a series of calls who know my name, but they don’t introduce themselves, until I persistently ask them who they were, then I proceeded to tell them I was not interested and when they ignored me, I hung up on them, but they rang me back s I’m not talking to you traight away and several times, After, so I ignored the remainder of those calls

Straight out scammer who failed to identify himself, the organisation he worked for, who my current suppler is and when I asked him what the weather was like in Melbourne he got that completely wrong too.🤣 scum bags.

Heavy breathing...very sick

was told I had a message, when I opened it I got heavy breathing.

Call didn't come up typically as spam on my phone when it rang. I answered and at first there was no answer then a moment went by and a guy with an Indian accent asked " Is the Ms **** " (he had my correct surname). I answered Yes thinking it was my Indian doctor ringing me with recent results. As soon as I said Yes this unknown guy hung up. I didn't ring the number back in fear of it being a scam. Oddly enough for the rest of the day when I make phone calls people can't hear me yet I can't hear them. There doesn't appear to be a Telstra service problem in my area according to the service app so I'm worried if it's possible the spam phone call today has any connection to my now phone issue ???
