Called to inform phone outage and to call a number . American accent

This number rang and I answered with "Hello" a male voice replied "Hello", then silence, then they hung up.
The noise and chatter in the background suggested a call centre of Indian origin. Another nuisance caller.

Number calls and calls. Suspected it was a scam or nuisance of some kind. Having quite a few calls from traavel agencies with sub-continent, Indian, Paki, Bang - accents. Also note grubs on (02) 4216 5283. BLOCK, BLOCK and keep reporting here.

I called back, and a robot said the voicemail box was full!

I made the mistake of answering. Definitely a spam call/number. Told me my service would be out for two hours and to select options to find out more info. Other options were to select English or Chinese. Hung up straight away. Spam Spam Spam

Claimed to be calling after I filled out a coupon for a free holiday. I never filled anything out. Tried to sell a fake holiday accommodation package. Like previous comments the noise and chatter in the background suggested a call centre of overseas origin.

Indian scammer phishing for information

Indian call centre claiming to have sent a travel voucher in the past. Not true. Most likely a scam.

They rang at the usual time for scams, so I picked up without speaking. There was a delay while connecting an international call, then the call quickly ended. Either they wanted me to ring back, or they wanted proof of life at my end before starting the con.

Tried to get me to look at a website Manly travels.com.au to get me to have a holiday of 6 nights anywhere in aus and nz for $349. spoke to a lady first, then after explaining the deal 6 times transferred me to the manager.

SCAMMERS - Just Hang Up

Indian sounding voce, and lots of voices in background, assumed i was a certain name; put the phone down when i said no body of that name lives here. Obviously 'dodgy'.

Caller said was from MCS (or similar) Travel, asked if I recalled a survey. Before she could say anything more I told her that I am sick of having calls from that company and that i have asked many times for them not to call me again. They hung up. Had a call from (02) 4216 5283 a few days ago saying it was from same company - I though after what I told the caller that day that I'd never hear from them again but ........................

Rang my mobile phone and previously rang my landline, neither of which I answered. No messages were left on either apparatus.

Hung up when they got my voicemail but my phone detected it as spam so it is now blocked
