Caller: Said their name was Cam

I had an ad on gumtree advertising my business for sale, I was contacted by someone who said their name was (Cam) and he asked if my business was still for sale.

From the first few messages this person was very passive aggressive and said everyone on gumtree is a scammer and questioned if I was genuine.

To be honest I did not feel comfortable replying after his first messages being passive aggressive, I remained professional and politely replied with a link to my website; which is a legitimate registered Australian business. I also sent links to other businesses I have sold to clients that are still online and running quite well.

After viewing my website and the links I sent, this person thanked me for reassuring that I was genuine and also complimented me; saying how amazing my work is!!

After three days of sms ping pong and asking me numerous questions about my business for sale, all of a sudden this person started abusing me saying I am a “f*cking scammer” and a “dodgy c*nt” because I would not give him product supplier information unless he purchased my business first.

He basically tried to obtain product supplier information from me!

I remained clam and professional, I told this person not to contact me again as I would like to cease all communications immediately.

Then; this person said “lucky we weren’t face to face” and started threatening me, also calling me a bunch of names and then said he would track my GPS location and come to my house to cause harm.

I immediately replied saying I was going to the police with his messages, this did not stop him; I continued to receive more abuse and threats over the next hour or so.

It came to the point where I warned this person; if they came to my house with intentions to cause harm that I would NOT hesitate to shoot them dead on the spot as it would be pure SELF DEFENCE because I will anything in my power to protect my children and wife; including my own life.

After I warned this person - I immediately called 000 and spoke to the police and went into a police station and made a statement, this idiot continued to message more abuse and threats, unbelievable!

Right now the police are investigating the matter and I have changed my phone number because of this piece of sh*t abusing and threatening me completely unprovoked all because I wouldn’t give product supplier information to him unless he purchased the business.

This person has the characteristics of a narcissist and will ignore most of your messages and talk down to you in a condescending manner, this person will try to twist things around (accusing you of being a scammer and provoking them) which is absolute rubbish because this person seen my website and other business; they know I’m legit but tried to twist things around saying I provoked them and I’m a scammer.

I think it’s important to share my experience with this number and (Cam) if that is even his real name, I can’t wait for the police to charge this prick with threats to kill and lock him up!

I done absolutely nothing wrong to deserve the abuse and threats received from this piece of sh*t! completely unprovoked!

It is best to AVOID any communication with this psychopath!!
