Caller: claims to be Commbank

Got a text message from Commbank providing a numerical code to authorise a payment to airbnb or if not me, to phone the number

Comm bank saying to complete your purchase use this code, Scam.

SCAM text message (receive txt from mobile number 0468 714 092) received requesting you to call this number to authorise $800 payments via CBA to Airbnb. I THINK NOT!

Received scam/phishing SMS. I closed all accounts with Commbank 40 years ago -

COMM: A login was made from location. Aukland, NZ. If this was NOT you, please contact us on (02) 9066 3006

Message wanted confirmation of payment to AirBnb using a code in the message. Unlikely!

I just got exactly the same text.

Caller: Commbank Scammer

Scam text message from Commbank asking me to call them to authorise a transaction i never did with AIRBNB.

Received a text message with code numbers to finalise airbnb. I called and the person sounds Indian asked me to read the whole message, which is too personal. I hung up. Definitely a scam.

I received this scam SMS:
COMM: A transaction for 931.31 AUD to AIRBNB has been placed on hold pending approval, if this was NOT you please contact us on (02) 9066 3006. REF: QFRNS 6

I no longer bank with the CBA so I know it was a scam.
I called the number anyway and it was a very convincing copy.

SCAMMER pretending to be Commbank

(02) 9066 3006 - claims to be Comm Bank - requsts to enter code and complete a NAB bank transaction for an Air BNB - came from a mobile number by SMS - has been reported to Com Bank, NAB and scam alert.

Texed on 26 March 2003 from "Commbank" the message: "COMM: A transaction for ***.** AUD to AIRBNB has been placed on hold pending approval, it this was not you please contact us on (02) 9066 3066. REF: **** " This is very suspicious.

Claims to be Comm Bank - got text msg from 61534729218 - asking to finalise purchase from Airbnb . Scam

(02) 9066 3006 is a SCAM - Asking me to confirm payment to AIRBNB when I dont have a Comm Bank Account. (to the moderator of this website - I incorrectly posted this scam against (03) 9066 3006 previously - can you please fix, sorry)
