After missing a call from this mob and checking the number and reading everyones comments, i decided to have some fun with this Bunch of scammers i got put through to a so called manager. after about 10 mins of going along with her bullsh*t i told her to send me a cheque for the money i was suppose to be entitled to she ended up getting quite pissed off because i had scammed her for a change, my work mates and i had a good old laugh at there expense. the best part is while had them on the phone they werent able to scam someone else

When I rang the number back I got an automated voice saying please wait for the next available operator or something like and there was no announcement of who they are and there nothing after the announcement like background music or information about the company etc.

They keep ringing me too. I am.supposed to have a silent number. Go.figure!!!!! I won't be answering this phone number after reading everyone's comments. Where is the ACCC??? Aren't they supposed.to deal with this stuff????

I received one of these calls this morning....and I have never been in an accident ! I demanded to know where they got my details and they hung up.

Called saying I'd been in a car accident. Knew my first and surname. Said from company 'Follow me'. Complete scam. Haven't been in a car accident for years.

I let it ring - 2nd time they have rang in two weeks.

Rang twice today hangs up when I answer. Rang back, rings once and disconnects.

They called me today and the guy with a strong accent stated he was from "Follow up services". I asked what he was calling about and he stated the recent motor vehicle accident that I was involved in. That was enough for me. SCAM!!

Times by 8188 3755, when u call back it hangs up. I finally answered today they were asking if I had been in a motor vehicle accident in the last three yrs, I said no. They insisted even if I had been a passenger. I repeated no, they then hung up.

I received a call to my mobile from this number today. It was the same spam - asking if I had been involved in a motor accident in the last three years. What concerned me most though was that the caller asked to speak to a person I know who lives in the country and has phoned me recently on both a Telstra landline and a Telstra mobile (and certainly did not provide my number to anyone). I suspect that Telstra is failing to protect the privacy of its customers, or that some corrupt employee is selling customer information. This appears to be a very serious matter that goes further than the usual scam.

Just received a call on my mobile from a buy speaking with a very strong accent. He knew my name and asked if I had been in an accident ... I said no. Then he asked if any of my family had been in an accident !!!!! This is obviously a scam. Thanks to reverse phone look up and the comments ... it helps a lot.

This number calls me pretty often. I don't take the calls. When try to call back it's disconnected. How annoying it is! Why do we need to tolerate some dodgy bastards like that?

Keep missing those calls, just as well, those people are a real nuisance. Glad I can check this website. I have stopped answering calls, if they are genuine they leave a message.

I also just has a call from (02) 8188 3755.. Wanted me to confirm my name which I didn't. I asked what is the call about and the "Indian sounding" guy said it was about a car accident that I had. After badgering him about where he got my number from and about what accident to which he replied he didn't have that information handy, he then asked if I have been in a car accident in the past 3 years. I asked him why? He said I might be entitled to compensation. I kept badgering him with more questions and then he hung up.

this is the second time I have had my name searched on academia. com. and then gotten a call from this number.
