most insurance companies correspond by mail and request you ring them if you've been in an accident.

I lied to them that I never had a licence and never drove a car in my life. lol they didn't know what to do.

They don't take nicely when you abuse them back. Old mate has been ringing me constantly for an hour I keep telling him to call as when he does its some poor Aussie I'm saving

I called the number back, first time quick hang up. Second time, straight after, picked up i heard kids & then i said excuse me i got a missed call and she asked who i was.... I said NO! Who are you, trying to scam something claiming it was a follow up to a car accident i had. I told her i ride a bike & to stop scamming people

Called me today - Big mistake because i had some time up my sleeve today calling them back 10 times and abused 10 different people. HAHAHA

Nuisance call...I'd heard about such calls asking about car accident...I actually missed the call after running to the phone so checked last unanswered call...called that number (81883755) - gave him a minute or two, then decided I'd tell him where to go...he persisted despite this & told me to 'have a nice day' ! Just started getting calls from this number today.... glad I dont answer numbers i dont know.

I have blocked this number in my phone, but I still get the text message at least once every day saying I missed a call from this number. Wish I was tech minded enough to work out how to stop the messages as well, its very annoying

What do they get out of this if you supply accident details has anyone checked there phone bill to see if there are any changes from this number, maybe time to report to the police and see what they say, if they don't know about the calls they can't do anything about them

SCAM SCAM SCAM this number is a scam. caller will say they are from follow up services and will ask you about a motor vehicle accident you may have had in the last 4 years and might be intitled to compensation. when asked about details about their company they will hang up be rude or give you vague BS this number has been reported to scamwatch. If you have been in a motor accident see a lawyer you never get compensation from an unsolicited call.

This mob is called follow up services. They do anti insurance claim work from a call centre in malaysia They lie cheat and do anything they can to void a current claim.. DO NOT SPEAK TO THEM. ABUSE THEM AND HANG UP. (Strongest possible terms.)

I also received several calls from this number regarding a motor accident. I am an insurance broker...bad move #1 !! after a lengthy 15 min call with "Don" asking how, when and why he was calling me, the other staff in my office actually told them they were just idiots and hung up !! He then called back and told me I was a moron and that he would ring me every day just because he can...bad move # 2 !! I then call the number back - "Karen" answered and failed to put me through to "Don", so I hung up and called again...mystery person #3 was told by me that I record my calls also due to it being a business mobile number for quality and assurance control, and if he could kindly inform "Don" that if he abuses me again or calls my number again that I would report them to the Police for harassment !! Wonder if I will get another call ??

Just got ANOTHER call from this number regarding a mv accident - which I haven't had for many years. I have received these types of calls for probably close to 2 years now - from many different numbers - 'unknown', 'overseas', 'private', etc. etc. This time, this number came up and they identified themselves as "Follow up services". I got rid of him quickly, then rung the number back, to see if they'd answer - which this time they did, identifying the company as well. I've received these calls on both my landline and mobile. I'm also on the "Do not call" register, and my landline is silent as well. (Think I'll get rid of the silent number - as it doesn't seem to make any difference!) Called the Police Assistance Line, and just as I thought, they're unable to do anything. The operator was very nice though, and indicated they've had a lot of calls about this one - as well as a tax scam. Suggested I report it to Scamwatch - even though I have done that previously. Perhaps if they get lots of reports from people, they might try to do something about it!

Called me several times over a week. When I answered it the new about a small accident I had, my full name which I don't use and the address I was living at when I had the accident. Don't know how the knew any of these details cause I didn't even claim for the accident.....WTF

Oh my this girl was eating and snuffling, didn't like answering my questions and when I told her I had looked up this number while she was on the phone she hung straight up.

Had multiple calls and had the same thing as other shave said - asking if I was involved in a car accident in the last two years

3 times a day on my mobile - have never answered and because of all other comments I have blocked. I also am on the DNC listing, but it doesn't seem to work in this case OR in the instances of overseas calls on home phone. Had no recent accident although had a cracked windscreen (road damage) replaced on the car through insurance. Seems like Insurance companies need to tighten their supposed security!!!!

Unfortunately, the Do not Call register is unable to weed out calls from overseas. There are plenty of calls that still get past the register....

Definitely scammers. Called my mobile but no message left. Now blocked & reported to scamwatch

Got 2 calls from this number called them back said they were following up on an accident I had but the only problem is I have never had an accident. They would not give me the company name very rude and should not be allowed to happen
