I have had three calls this evening from (02) 4369 2755 also claiming from Telstra and to fix corrupted internet line. Asked me to fire up my computer and he would walk me through the problem and asked if I had had their pop up messages. Asked where I would find the messages and he said "In the computer" and I said, yes, where in the computer - internet, email, folders etc. "Mam, I will walk you through it". I said, okay if this is a real issue and you really are from Telstra you would not mind me taking down a return phone number and calling you back at a convenient time. He assured me he was genuinely from Telstra and offered to give me his Employee ID. I asked if the call was being recorded, he said "yes by our internal system" and I asked why I was not informed about this from the start of the call. I took down the number he provided 0085245676748. Totally a scam caller.

Have been getting calls from the number multiple times a day for more then a month. Sometimes no one is on the other end, sometimes its a man saying he is from Telstra. At this stage I know the number off by heart and just don't answer it.

whoever rings and say they are from Telstra, you know it is a scam to begin with. I have called Telstra in the past regarding spam phone calls and they do not ring customers to tell them something is wrong with their computer or internet. Please DO NOT give out any personal details about yourself. Next time they call I will make sure that I tell them I have them recorded as I am assisting the Federal Police in their hunt for this person/s.

Got the call from this idiot today about my computer problems, told him to piss off and go chase elephants. I don't think he liked that because he rang twice since but he just hangs up.

This number has called half a dozen times over the last 2 days. I was asked what sort of washing machine I had, then wanted to confirm that I was..... and then wanted me to confirm that I lived at ..... in ..... and post code.
Also had calls about my Microsoft Windows and also that they were Telstra.

Multiple calls from this number claiming to be the Tax dept, Telstra and so on. I have put a block on my phone but was tempted to get a loud whistle and give them a blast.

husband just received call on his mobile saying our internet at home was too slow and could he have the landline number so he could fix it. If he's from Telstra he should have the landline number. Totally bogus.

The caller claimed to be from Telstra technical department, told me my computer had a problem and if I didn't fix it they were going to suspend my internet connection. I said "no you're not". He came back with the same spiel. I told him that the only problem I had was him ringing me. He called me a motherf**ker and hung up. Most fun I've had today!

Have had numerous calls from this number over the last week. My wife/daughter had been answering but I was here today and got the "I'm from Telstra" crap. Told him this was a secure monitored line, that they are being tracked and they are not to call this number again, then hung up. I tried to call back but got the message about the number being disconnected. Must be somehow rewriting their CID

I just had a call from this number on my business line.
I'm currently a bit sick with the flu so it makes me sound younger (apparently) as the man on the phone (claiming to be from telstra) asked if my mum or dad was home to speak about the internet. I went along with it thinking it would be the quickest way to get rid of him, and said they were not here. He then asked if i would like to engage in sexually explicit activities with him over the phone! after figuring i must be a child!
If this number is known i do not understand why its still valid. I'm very concerned that a poor child will answer the phone and hear this aggressive man asking for things they may have no idea about.

They keep calling every day and then hang up. Why won't Telstra or who ever it is shut them down.

I had an unanswered call today from these scumbags. Assume itv was the same pod thing again, Telstra calling about internet problems etc. Police, Telstra are all not interested. Some people (not me) advocate bowing an old fashioned whistle into the mouthpiece with nuisance calls

I have had that number call me 6 times today. No one on the other line. I rang back but its states "this number cannot be connected" etc. They are a real nuisance as I work for myself so answer calls. I will get this number blocked

We have had dozens of calls from this number over the last month. Most of the time we ignore it but when we answer it is some bloke saying he is from Telstra wanting to discuss our internet. When we point out that we don't even have Internet, that he is not from Telstra and we are reporting him, he hangs up. Definitely spam.

Scammers pretending to be from Telstra regarding an 'urgent internet issue', tried to get me to turn on my computer and get into the control panel so they can hack into it. Do NOT give them ANY details.

i just got a call from this number, telling me it was telstra and i had a virus, i replied with, ill be reporting this number, as i know its a scam.... and the response "Hey motherf*cker, who told you this was a scam?"...

Claims to be from telstra internet. Told me I have an infection with 'junk files' on my computer. I said I was ready for their instructions and I had a hammer to help smash the 'junk files' right out of my computer, they suggested I use the hammer on my head and then hung up. Bogus scam, the longer you keep them on the phone the less time they have to try to scam people.

Ring religiously every day. Keep hanging up on them but they just call back repeatedly - sometimes 3 times in a row. Can't understand why something hasn't been done about these creeps!
