I have been receiving calls from 96834844 and 96838834 are they related to the 9683 8833 scam

Rings repeatedly using this number, but hangs up as soon as the answering machine kicks in.

Scam. Automated voicemail left saying my bank account will be charged for an ebay payment, if I didn’t want to be charged then I had to contact them.
I don’t do ebay.
Huge scam!
Super easy to spot.
