This number says that it is for technical support, but it is a scam number. They will ask for $399USD to sort out problems with your computer, then access it remotely and access ALL of your personal information. Beware

This number is not affiliated with Netgear whatsoever - do not give them your money. It is a scam!

Caller: Gary Martin Called home number from withheld number, which my VOIP system is configured to silence. So caller left voicemail. Said calling from Router Support and to call 1800 987 933 and ask for Gary Martin. Very strange timing as I have been placing online support inquiries with NetGear which except for one, I didn't follow up. But within hours I get this call purporting to be from Router Support. 1800 987 893 links to a www.support-router.com. So possible that official NetGear support staff are feeding genuine callers to this scam operation.
