Scammer claiming to be Amazon saying I had purchased a laptop and I should contact them ASAP.

Caller: Text message from 'A' with phone number to call 1800 950 475

Advised that I had paid a large sum for a laptop was this genuine purchase, if not to ring the above number. I rang the above number and was told that I was talking to Amazon and did I want to cancel the purchase. They knew that last 4 digits of a credit card, wanted me to tell them the full number before they'd cancel this purchase. Refused and rang off. Many repeat calls from another number +448081645334 and from 1800 950 539. Very persistent and almost convincing scammers. Amazon website says they never ask for credit card info or other info.

Caller: 1800 950 475 sms'd saying they ad deducted almost 3k from my bank for a Dell laptop.

checked my bank account ,no such money deducted. rang number, no answer.

I recieved a message from a mobile number 0483 886 754/">0483 886 754 ( 0483 886 754)
stating the following and asked me to call the below 1800 number.
this is a scam do not call back.

A: You paid $2499.99 against DELL Intel core i9 Touch Laptop order id 03134521DRT on 03-13-2021. If NOT you, Please Contact 1800 950 475.

Claimed to be from Amazon and confirming purchase of laptop........a load of farmyard fertilizer.....

Claiming I paid $2500 for a laptop and to call back this number

Scammer claimed to be from Amazon and tried to get information regarding a fraudulent purchase. Hang up!!

They giving different reason to callback my was as paid two and half thousand for laptop if wasn't me call back this number

Received a text saying a purchase of $2500 on a laptop. The text message was really detailed and honest to god, I got duped. Luckily my husband said it's not real as it came from a text.

Said l bought a Dell laptop and to call l never called

Got a text to call this number re paying for a laptop, I don't have a PayPal account.

I had a text message saying I paid $2499.99 for dell laptop and to call this number if it’s not me. I called and someone with an Indian accent answered Amazon and sent me a code he wanted me to read back. I hung up the phone as it seemed suspicious and he kept trying to call me back from a UK number and left any voice Mail saying I’m going to lose my money

Scammer claiming to be from Amazon

Said he was from Amazon and someone had fraudulently used my account. Wanted to get credit card details so that he could ‘secure’ them. Absolute scammer.

Send texts claiming I bought a laptop.

I received a text message from this number stating that I had purchased an item at a cost of $2499 and if that was not me to call this number. I called and asked who I was speaking to and they replied Amazon, however the voice was decidedly strange and I hung up. No item had of course been purchased. Scam!

Received the following text message 13 March 2021:-

"A: You paid $2499.99 against DELL Intel core i9 Touch Laptop order id 03134521DRT on 03-13-2021. If NOT you, Please Contact 1800 950 475."
