Claimed to be microsoft. Was Indian in accent and audible messages kept flashing over in English and some Indian dialect. Sounded very dodgy and wanting access to my IP address on the pretext of helping me with a computer issue

Thought they were genuine & helping me with my computer problem, how wrong I was :( I'm sure I was scammed Big Time :( DO NOT GIVE Them your personal details! beware they are a scam. Do not ring this number...it is a scam

Supposedly from Microsoft after a virus was detected and computer frozen....They say to call this number to fix...I rebooted and checked that number...to be sent to this number site....PC rebooted... no problems and no sign of them.

Didn’t even speak English. Possibly french

Pop up on computer screen claimed I had been hacked and told me to ring this number for IT help. He used the name "Mark Banner". I suspect this is a scam.
