Same as all the above. Could not understand her, unsure what name but something about ringing 1800 816 025 for credit management. Sounds like a scam to me. P!ss off.

Caller: Telstar

Get Similar calls but from a Private Number claiming to be Telstra asking us to call back on 1800 816 "Bleeh"25 and that she was from Credit Management. assumed the Bleeh was a 3? As it's a corporate phone emailed our account manager said a few people have been getting them and to ignore them.

Telstra voice message in an Indian accent - said to ask for Credit Management on 1800 816 025 - called on mobile that had been moved from Telstra over 6 months ago - at least 6 calls in the past 2 weeks - all Private Number. Very very dodgy.

Caller: Telstra?

They had my full name. Automated message except when inserting name. "Hello this is Telsra. it is important that (insert name) call about Account usage 1800 816 025 between 8am-8pm eastern standard time.

Called to advised us we have outstading bills and tried to get our details . We refused to give details and they said to ring 1800 816 025.
We just hang up...sound very suspicious

They have persistently called claiming they are from Telstra and left a message each day for the past 5 days. I keep my mobile phone on silent anyway most of the time and only call back legitimate people. Similar messages to what everyone is saying previously. Not going to get any information from me!

Got a call from a "No Caller ID" and was told my Telstra account was over due ($90) and to call this number to confirm - he was persistent that I call the number and confirm it's not a scam - but that made me doubt him even more! After googling I ended up on this site and I called him out about it on the phone and he hung up... Seriously...

Tried to contact Telstra to confirm - unable to get past the merry-go-round answering machine.

A lady with a Filo accent left a number asking us to call regarding our Telstra account. Our business isn't even engaged with Telstra, in any provider or supplier capacity! Damn scammers.

Caller: Someone claimimg they are from Telstra Credit Management

Left message to call 1800 816 025 Credit management - "something to do with my account". Previous call I got to speak to someone with a "call centre' accent - americanised - I work at a school and they were trying to get $1,400 approx out of us. I have access to all our past payments and invoices so I could check and we had never had a bill from Telstra that big before. When I asked for more details such as who the bill was made out to thinking it may be for another school with a similar name, she tells me 'Department of Education, Andrews Place, Melbourne', I told her then it wasn't our bill. She replied 'but your number was on the bill'. Told her we weren't paying it. SCAM.

Caller: Claimed they were from credit management of Telstra

A foreign man who had the correct account number and knew my first name but wanted me to pay $90 and said he was from credit management. The caller id came up as NO CALLER ID. But he said to phone the credit management number 1800 816 025. This is a scam to gather your personal information. Do not call this number.

I received an official Telstra bill. I stupidly called the number on the bill and confirmed by DOB and driver license. I will go into a Telstra shop and present them with the letter. I told them I would not pay the bill because I am not with Telstra and she (Minette) told me she would do further investigating. I hung up after a few minutes.

I just had a call re my credit rating. Interesting as I dont have a credit card or owe any money. Scum bags.

i called them back and was asked straight away for my full name and DOB. I didnt give this and advised that i do not have nor never had a telstra account. The man then said something about call back in a few hours as their system was down. SCAM!

Claimed to be from Telstra and used my name. Telstra confirmed their is no log of a call from anyone at Telstra.

Caller: Not a call but fake paper Telstra bill

Repeatedly receive Telstra bills in the mail which look VERY convincing... I just happened to notice it was not our account number and so I thought I'd check to see if the apparent Telstra number on the bill was real. No it wasn't ... it was THIS number. Glad I didn't ring it or pay the money but I can understand how some people would be caught. Handed it to Telstra. Probably won't catch the mongrels though. :(

Called and said this was not a telemarketing call and tha tI needed to call urgently about usage of my account. When I called Telstra they said there was no record of this call and referred me to scamwatch

Caller: Said he was Joseph from Telstra - came in as a private number - which is difficult to block.

Caller left a voice mail saying Joseph from Telstra and credit management. Strong foreign accent. Gave the 1800 816 025 number as the number to call.

Caller: No call id
