scammers with Indian accent pretending to be microsoft. Scammed me.

This IS a legitimate number for IDCARE - however utilising 'spoofing', scammers are able to pretend they have a legitimate 1800 number.

This happens to the ATO, AFP and other organisations on a regular basis.

This site needs an explainer about spoofing so people don't abuse legitimate services or people not involved in the scam whatsoever.
