This is the ATO identity verification, number was provided to me when I contacted the ATO through their website.

Not a scam, its the ATO identity theft department.
The ATO have flagged possible identity theft and are wanting to verify your details

ASKED ME TO CALLED BACK ON 1800 467 033 GIVING ME ref#1052347555380. Answer all questions and now scared that it might be a SCAM

I received an email to call back to ATO via this number

Caller: Indian scammers

You would have to be Mr Bean to believe these dirt bags are the ATO. Please report to Scam Watch

If this was for real they would have left a message for me to call back. This is a pissible scam

Caller: she said her name is Caroline

i dont know why she called and then she asked for my name.I gave my name and then she asked for my date of birth i did not give her.I cant trust anyone here.
