I also thought this was a scam but I called Suncorp by the website number and they informed me it wasn’t a scam and that is a Apple Pay number that gets automated to Suncorp bank so don’t freak out it’s not a scam

Caller: Australian Bank - However, i think its a scam
I received both a sms and an email advising they were from [name] bank and that my card had been removed from google pay. To call 1800 290 869 if i had any issues
I googled the bank's phone number and called that number to verify if 1800 290 869 was known to them and it wasn't
The next day i used google pay, without issue.... this was yet another clue that this is more than likely a scam
Worryingly 1800 290 869 people had my phone number, email and last four digits of my card [i suspect they got this via an NFC skimmer]
regardless...my advise - google the bank's phone number and call that number and NEVER call 1800 290 869 [as they will get your personal info, under the guise they are verifying your identify for security purposes]
