I received a call today from voice recording from an Indian sounding woman who said she was from a internet provider and our internet site had been compromised from overseas and that we needed to have our IP address adjusted. If I dialed 1 I would be connected to Telstra technical help who could do this. I dialed 1 and an Indian sounding guy said he was from Telstra and why had I called. I explained why. As Telstra is not our service provider I asked for a number to ring him back and was given 1800 282 980. I dialed and the number wasn't connected.
Another Scam?

Received a call today from this number and an Indian sounding guy said he was from Telstra and was going to disconnect my internet connection due to some unsecure websites that we are viewing. Telstra is not our service provider.
He also said to go on my computer and he could help fix the problem or someone would come around and do it for us!!
What a load of crap.
