Complete Credit Solutions. Collection agency. Commonwealth Bank "sold" them my debt. It is legit, but that doesn't mean I want to talk to them.

On work phone - Robot call asking to speak to a team member who no longer works for us.

Just as a follow up to this, I got another call from this number.

This time when I asked who they were, the woman said they deal with a lot of companies and she won't know how to direct my call unless I give her "the number they called you on". Me telling her the number that called me (1300 930 070) was not enough. She said "I don't have all the numbers memorised so I don't know which company called you until you give me the number they called you on."

Sounds like they've got a new tactic where they try to sound less dodgy.

Keeps leaving text messages for some random person on our mobile wifi

I've been receiving text messages for about 18 months now. At first it they were from AGL telling me that i have a over due bill to pay which i ignored as i'm not a customer. Now i'm getting messages from CCS (Complete Credit Solutions) addressed to someone who isn't me. After calling the number on the message the girl on the other end refused to give me the name of the company she works for. However, i gave her the reference number in the message and it does match one in their system. I searched for CCS and they have a website that looks legit, i suppose, i've never heard of them until now. So i have a suspicion that they guy that they're chasing hasn't paid his bills and has given them my number and done a runner. Either way i blocked the number.

Anyone who leaves me a robo message automatically gets blocked.

They don’t identify themselves on the call. Just leave a message saying to call this number.

dodgy as hell, refused to tell me their company name. they sent an sms to a friend of mine on Facebook who I don't really know that well asking them to call, when they called they asked for me, said they found that we were friends on Facebook and wanted to speak with me. Refused to say who they are, refused to do anything, then send a text message after speaking with them asking them to pass on a message.

Phishing scams asking for your personal details in return for an 'urgent message'. Do not answer. Block and report to police.

Pretty Sure this is a collection agency. They called looking for my Brother who must have used my phone number either as a family or next of kin contact. Fairly unpleasant robo message leaving you the number and a file number to quote

'CCS' seem to be a scam, call people saying that they have an 'urgent call.'
