You have no idea what you're talking about. This is not a scam. I'm both an ethical hacker and penetration tester and by doing my due diligence can unequivocally state that this is genuine.

Please check Hollard's website at https://www.hollard.com.au/contact/assistance-with-refunds. This website lists 1300 919 579 as one of their contact numbers. Check this website ... it is a genuine website. Hollard handles Everyday Insurance for Woolworths.

Beware of this bogus Everyday Insurance (Hollards) number as it is yet another spoofed number being used by cyber criminals. As this number along with (email: CustomerSolutions @ email.everydayinsurance.com.au) was not recognised it was left to ring out with no message being recorded on completion. Accordingly, the above number and email address have been blocked and reported.

NOT A SCAM. I called the actual Woolworth customer service number (not the one in the mail/email), they told me they didnt know about a refund, but i got them to check the email address and the phone number, and they confirmed it was part of the company. So I called. Suss the guy out, thought it was legit (didnt ask for any info they didnt already have, except credit card number but without CVC and exp date) 3 weeks later i got my refund

I received a text message reported spam as I have not had everyday insurance. A few weeks later a letter came to an old address from 10 years ago my old neighbour sent it to me .

I rang Woolworths Insurance on a legitimate phone no. and the guy said 1300 919 579 is a legitimate department of Woolworths Insurance for refunds. He put me through and I will be receiving a payment shortly. It was for a very old policy. I have already received 3 refunds for current policies.

Scam. Never had any insurance with this company so why would they be trying to issue me a refund? Any sh*tbag on here saying it is legit is just part of the scam group trying to fool you. Ignore, report, delete.

Caller: Text message As I read comments above I called everyday rewards Woolworths as I had car insurance with them 3 years ago. I didn't want to give out my full name so gave my initials, he then told me my name. Transferred me to this number listed on suspected spam 1300 919 579. They girl I got was an absolute nasty piece. All information verified, Woolworths insurance overcharged, refund of $20. She wanted my credit card details, told her NO you have my correct address, send me a cheque. She said no. I asked for her name to make a complaint for the way she was speaking to me, she terminated the call. Guess what Woolworths, HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY.

It's a scam! they have stolen the audio from Woolworths insurance so when you call this number it sounds legit. I asked to be transferred to Australian call centre and the girl couldn't do it. When I hung up, I got a call from the same girl using an Australian number. When i told her I now knew she was a scammer she hung up on me. I contacted Woolworths Insurance direct (on the number listed on their website) and they confirmed it was scam!

Caller: Everyday I got a text message from this number saying I have a refund. It’s not a scam. I had car insurance with Woolworths in 2020, they couldn’t refund me because the card I use had expired, which is correct. My refund is $9.35. I have given them a card that has little money on it. I rang Woolworths insurance on their phone no. Ask if it was a scam. They said no. Woolworths use Hollard as their payment service. In 2019 ASIC issued a statement that over charges had happened. You can google it.

Got an sms from Everyday Rewards and was told to call this number for a refund. I'm either suffering from dementia or that I live in parallel universe... I don't remember having insured with them in this life, at all... Coles yes, Woollies, no.

Caller: SMS from Everyday Insurance Genuine. I've dealt with three so far (old policies) and the refund comes through. If you are UNSURE if any such "Call centre" is genuine, TEST by providing a FALSE last name and birthdate. They do not SMS the entire old policy number for security reasons.

Caller: "Everyday Insurance"- Woolworths Be Careful. They left me a SMS text message to call back for some refund of car policy( i.e. some 8 years ago). I rang and the guy kept asking me for personal details and Credit card number.... I said I had to be careful as I was feeling that the whole thing was a scam... Then he transferred me to Hollard Insurance Customer Service... I told the man that I wasnot keen to give out car a new credit card details via the phone..... He then routed me back to the Start and soon dropped the call. Can I call ACMA or Police , perhaps?
