You have no idea what you're talking about. This is not a scam. I'm both an ethical hacker and penetration tester and by doing my due diligence can unequivocally state that this is genuine.

Beware of this bogus Everyday Insurance (Hollards) number as it is yet another spoofed number being used by cyber criminals. As this number along with (email: CustomerSolutions @ email.everydayinsurance.com.au) was not recognised it was left to ring out with no message being recorded on completion. Accordingly, the above number and email address have been blocked and reported.

NOT A SCAM. I called the actual Woolworth customer service number (not the one in the mail/email), they told me they didnt know about a refund, but i got them to check the email address and the phone number, and they confirmed it was part of the company. So I called. Suss the guy out, thought it was legit (didnt ask for any info they didnt already have, except credit card number but without CVC and exp date) 3 weeks later i got my refund

Caller: I had a text message
I rang after hours and a nice English speaking lady said it was General Insurance but it was Eastern States so please ring back between 9am and 5pm. Now I am scared to ring back after reading the above comments

Please check Hollard's website at https://www.hollard.com.au/contact/assistance-with-refunds. This website lists 1300 919 579 as one of their contact numbers. Check this website ... it is a genuine website. Hollard handles Everyday Insurance for Woolworths.

This is clearly a scam as they are offering me some crappy refund of $7 for a period of insurance when I wasn’t even ensured with woolworths don’t fall for the fake reviews here saying it’s true

Caller: I called Everyday Insurance
The email message contained my policy number. That’s a sign it’s real - unless of course Woolworths/Everyday Insurance was hacked.
So I called Everyday Insurance on THEIR number 1300 101 234 and asked Mandy the robot for a human.
The call centre does sound like it’s in South Africa as someone else commented, both representatives had South African accents.
My card was expired (they had the last three digits) so I gave them a BSB & Account number. They said the refund can take up to 25 business days (five weeks).
FYI: If you use a special online savings account like ANZ Save account (not Flex account) money can only be deposited *into* it, not withdrawn *from* it by direct debit anyway - you have to transfer from it to Everyday account or to Flex account. So even if you don’t do the long route of checking I did (28 minute phone call because the first operator was inexperienced) then just use a one-way BSB/Acc number.

This number is mentioned is a real number for Holland Insurance, Woolworths Insurance underwriter. So it may appear scammy at first, but it would seem to be genuine.

This is not a scam phone number - this number is for the Hollard Insurance Company customer solutions team - they may be contacting you regarding a payment rejecting/a refund --- it could relate to all Insurance Companies that are underwritten by Hollard including Real Insurance, Seniors, Everyday Insurance, Woolworths etc

Its not a scam. The call centre is in South Africa. I gave them bsb & a/c no. which is also an option provided in the e-mail regarding the refund, so no need to give them credit card details (mine had expired).

I even received a letter in the mail asking me to call this number. I instead looked up their customer service number online (which is different) and called that. They confirmed I don’t have a refund owing .
