I had a Telstra bill which was settled for a lesser amount through another collection company and I received email confirmation that the account was paid. Impact called and did not leave messages from several different landline and mobile numbers and finally sent me a text message about an overdue Telstra account. On phoning them back they advised I still owed an amount to Telstra and that they had been appointed to chase up the debt. The debt owing was the difference between the original bill and the amount that I had paid on settlement . Obviously Telstra has sold the remaining debt to this Company - if I am stupid enough to pay them then they are ahead!

Demanding money and sending emails to take up a special discount offer if I pay them what I owe Energy Australia... I don't have any accounts with EA!

I have had calls from this company recently also saying I owe money for an energy australia bill from a previous address- we did live in this address however I was positive I didn't owe any money would you recommend to contact energy australia? Is this a legitimate company?

Had a missed call on my mobile, I called back on my private land-line. Heard it was Impact FS and declined to answer any questions. I hung up only for them to call back on my land-line. How did they get my new private number. Big red flag there.

They just called me stating l had an exciting personal matter to resolve he asked me how long lmhad this number etc. I would not identify myself as l do not know this person he was very rude and because l would not give him any information he l know what to do! This is a SCAM beware of these people!
