This guy with the most seriously annoying voice and aggravating accent calls regularly, demanding that I give him private details such as date of birth, before he'll tell me what he's calling about. I always refuse. He does not seem to understand English as we speak it - even though he speaks English! He's the most annoying, irritating f#ck!

https://www.impactfs.com.au/ They are a legitimate Debt Recovery Agency. Their CAPI licence number is 0409 508 918. You dont get one of these unless every director and shareholder has been vetted by the NSW Police force. If they are calling you it is because of a debt you owe or are believed to owe. In my case it was real name fraud and they helped me sort it out. No issue with them whatsoever. Did a great job.

I get regular calls from Impact Financial Services saying I have outstanding Energy Australia unpaid bills. I always confirm with Energy Australia & I am always reassured that my payments are always up to date. This is a scam. Block there number & never give them your details

Got a call from Impact saying they were chasing up a Telstra debt. I have never had a Telstra account. I called Telstra. They had an accc*nt in my name that they had referred to Impact for collection. Im now in the process of trying to prove the account wasn't set up by me. It was a mobile account set with Telstra over the phone so someone had my details. If you get a call, its worth contacting the company that has passed on the debt to confirm.

I have an outstanding Telstra bill that I’m paying off and I recently spoke to Telstra in which they said it was fine to do weekly payments but then I got a call from Impact saying my acc has been referred to them and If I pay half of the total bill by the end of the week they’ll give me 50% off so I won’t have to pay the other half. Sounds too good to be true?

I was just wondering is this a legit financial service. I have a phone bill I am paying threw some one else and I got a phone call saying it has been taken over by these guys am totally confused

Impact FS are dodgy as.. check any documentation they supposedly send... the ones I received had a different logo, no address and incorrect information relating to the company on their supposed website.
If they are legit then they should be shut down and investigated as they are definitely do not come across that way.

Is there a definite answer on whether or not IFS is a scam? They have a lot of detail about accounts but somehow it doesn't seem legit. Any comments that support IFS being real are 'Anonymous'

Telstra, like most corporations / organizations, outsource debts that they have not been able to resolve internally. the Website for Impact is www.impactfs.com.au and you may also learn that they are registered with the NSW police force via a CAPI licence. That means every employee has been vetted by the police. They are not scammers. ABN is 93084120276

I have had many different number only a few privies call me stating there from impact financial services I’ve also had emails from them they call every day 4 times a day and ask me for details when I refuse to answer personal details they start to threaten court and sending a arrest warrant out for me

Got a message from them about Energy Australia over due account. Contacted Energy Australia and they confirmed they had passed the debt to Impact Financial

I sent an sms reply saying that I don’t answer unknown numbers because they are usually scams. I asked them to send me their name and address and the reason for the call to verify that they aren’t scammers..........of course no reply!

They stated I have an unpaid Telstra bill. I’m not with Telstra They somehow got my mobile number and email.

I had been getting ( genuine ) letters from Telstra ( I wasn't even with Telstra ) for an unpaid bill but it was meant for some other person unknown to me, just wrongly sent to my address
Finally after many months it was resolved & I stopped getting further letters
But just yesterday I got another ( very different looking) letter from Impact Financial Services about the same matter I don't believe it's to do with Telstra so I'm assuming it's a scam If they send me another letter, I will take it to the Police
