A guy named Craig called our business wanting us to advertise in the Young Diggers Journal. They didn't have a website and no ability to email me advertising packages. Wanted me to basically say yes and pay over the phone for a publication I have no idea about. Clearly a scam.

I had a lady ring asking for money. Claiming to supporting young diggers.. I rang young diggers & asked this call. They never ask for money. Only charity money comes in. Their staff are all volunteeso ignore all the phone calls, or ask for their business numbe. Pass it on to stop these scammers.

I just received a call from them and it was terrible- they need training in what they are doing cause it really sounded like a prank call, I was horrified at the way the person delivered there message and responded to my phone calls- and being busy - he had nothing to email me about the program and gave me the web adress- when i said i'd call back on that number he freaked out -- dont call them dont call them call me - all very unprofessional- no wonder people think this is a scam- At the end of the call- I couldnt even work out what the money he wanted out of me was for tbh

I just received a call asking for money for a calendar to raise money to look after young veterans with PTSD. While I had the guy on the phone I asked if it's about dogs. He said I'm new at this, kept repeating the URL and said that they are nothing to do with the dogs. They're asking businesses to put up significant amounts of money to list their business name in support of young diggers. Sounds like a good cause but the whole situation seemed fishy. I didn't like it. Smelt like a scam.

I just had the same call. They are claiming to be the real charity for young diggers. But if you go onto the young diggers website the first thing it says “we will not call you directly to request a donation”.
These same scammers have got me before with a police journal. Don’t give them a cent. They are an absolute waste of oxygen.

Had a phone call from a private number who said he was from the Young Diggers Charity. I explained to him that I was working on a roof at the time so I couldn’t talk so he just hung up on me. I will never give to this charity now.

Was trying to pressure myself and other farmers in our area to help soldiers and police with mental health problems . Did some research , there a scam media company from queen st mrlbourne . Lowest of the low , picking on us vulnerable Aussie farmers

Police and military cold calling advertising scam
