I received a phone call from them, they did not disclose who they were, just used my name and asked if I had lived in a certain suburb. They said they had a Parcel for me.
Then they asked me if I was born in a certain month and had owned a business by a certain name. When I said no to that they said they must have the wrong person and hung up. It sounded like a scammer and they lied about the purpose of the call. I googled the number and found all these interesting comments. I have no outstanding debts so they had better not call back.

THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS...AND HIGHLY ABUSIVE..they do not know what is to be wrong....they attack, harassed..threatens,..menaces...arranges meetings with the POLICE...and invent all the lies they can to get you into trouble...they came after me..and I never met them..never spoken to them..and yet..they had my address...telephone no...and a fake date of birth...more to it...they had my signatures...all faked and one by them....at first they'd told me that I had accounts with the CB...to about huge amounts of money..i went to see them the CB..and they never heard of me let alone having an account with them...then after a while I received another account from an electricity major to which I also owed them loads of money and never paid...then the tickets...the letters...the harassments...the threats...menaces...came on and again..and they also involved the Melb Court's registrars..on both accounts....and Victoria police...where fore they investigated and suspended the sergeant and their proofs of identities...which were all faked..and never signed anything...on this..they wouldn't let me have what was it all about...however, the stuff of them came down cracking when they saw for themselves...that I could very easily sue them for fraud. faked witnesses....and faked signatures....what the PANTHERA'S FINANCES do is just that...they get info from the other side...and then they'd go for you not caring for the others peoples positions....they would lie...and harass you through phones calls...through personal attachments..they will portrayed as anything...and all this time..they were victims of the other people....so please report and let people see how they are...and why they are so abusive...

Has rang multiple time a week for months. Clearly if i had a debt id get something via every other communication method companies make you provide these days.

Keep ringing for a debt for someone I dont know - I dont answer the phone anymore and block all numbers; interestingly Panthera are currently being taken to court by the ACCC for illegal practices in recovering monies and in using unlawful tactics, pressure etc in pursuing individuals; I am waiting for the outcome and may sue them myself as they are harrassing me continually for no reason.

If you have a genuine debt (Some businesses pad/inflate the bill before selling it to a debt collector.), pay them directly. Tell Panthera Finance, you didn't sign anything from Panthera Finance and owe them nothing. Also, you didn't buy anything from them and you won't give them money.

Remember, control the conversation by talking about your actions, don't answer their questions.

My parents are being harassed by this company only leaving a 1300 number and something a bout insurance. Considering my parents have no debts these ppl should really stop calling them and if they are after someone else contact the person you are chasing directly and stop harassing innocent ppl.

Trick SMS referring to some name I've never heard of. Trying to trick me into clicking a link to their website. Says I have some huge multi thousand dollar Telstra debt.

Same story as everyone else - supposed debt to energy company from years before...called us several times two years ago re. this. We just stopped answering our landline - we only use our mobiles anyway. Today, out of curiosity, for the first time ever I checked my credit report - there is nothing on it but my mortgage as I’ve never been in debt for anything else. The only other thing on it are 20 listings of my file being accessed by Panthera!!!
Astonishing and hilarious!!! They must be so frustrated at not being able to li ate me for this phony $200 debt from 4 years ago - my address on the report is incorrect, so that would not have helped them and my employer listed there no longer exists! Good luck Panthera, you scumbags - you’ll never find me and I’m about to retire, mortgage free, debt free & will never need credit again, so your meddling with my rating will not serve you!!! Suck on that twins idiots!

Received a call yesterday from "Matt", who sounded like a 19 year old Uni student, working in a call centre to earn some extra bucks. I don't know how he got my number, but he persistently asked for my Partner's phone number. Matt would not tell me where he was from or what it was in relation to. I told him I would get my Partner to call him - he provided a number and a reference number. I passed on this message to my partner - we have no idea what it is about as we have NO DEBT! Anyway, my partner called the provided number - "Matt" was busy, so the scammers asked for my partner's phone number, so they could call him back, probably just so they could continually harass him over time!. My partner did not disclose his number. Cannot believe that companies like this exist in this day and age. Unprofessional, dodgy and unethical. A total scam. After reading these comments we will be escalating this matter and taking action ourselves. A total invasion of one's privacy.

They have tried calling me on what look like mobile numbers but there not. i Debt collection agency CANNOT demand your details as i have had my hacked because i gave it to someone who i thought was a debt collection agency.

Keep leaving texts to call them regarding an Optus bill in another name.
I have never had an Optus account.
Try Calling the number they have left a few times to explain that their may be an error and they never answer my call
