Is a valid number.
I had a missed call from (02) 8299 9534 then got message to call Fraud Dept on 1300 705 750. I called Bank Australia as wasn't sure if spam. Couldn't remember my security password so had to reset it and called them back.
Transferred me to Fraud Dept which was the correct number above, they said someone in Japan had tried to transact on my card so they had put a block on my card and contacted me. They are now issuing me with a new card.

Received a text message 'Please contact Peoples Choice Fraud Department on 1300 705 750 and press option 3, to confirm card transactions. Do not reply.' I checked my bank's website to find the number there so I (stupidly) called back and handed my details over. Then in a horrifying moment of realisation that I could've been scammed, I called my bank to check if it was legit. They confirmed it was the legitimate fraudulent services they use and not to be worried about it. But don't do what I do, and just call your bank first to be safe!

Aust fraud services. They only stop legitimate charges like my annual nursing registration and overseas purchases... never had fraud on cards. So every time they call its a major inconvenience. But they are legitimate.

Caller: Apparently from my state bank
Received voicemail apparently from my state bank. Said they are concerned about a transaction on an account number that I DO not have.
This is a fraudulent number.
I called my bank back directly. They said no notes are on my account and that the voicemail is fraudulent. No movement in my account.

This isn't a scam, fraud detection company for credit unions. Good job in stopping unauthorised transitions on my credit card

Called and left a message - I ignore unknown numbers that don't leave messages, but saw the reviews here and thought I would try it...
It's legit, and the guy I spoke to was very helpful.

I checked with my bank - P&NB and they are legitimate.
I then phoned them and they did an ID check. They had stopped a fraud attempt on my card for a $39 order with Menulog but it had failed as the scammers did not know the CVN. They cancelled my card and are posting out a new one.

Completely genuine - I am a Bank employee whose card was restricted after they suspected a fraudulent transaction (wasn't, though) after I bought tickets online for a show. It is not a scam - it is the Credit Union's security & account monitoring service to prevent fraudulent use of cards.

100% a legit number. Stopped fraudulent activity on my card and ordered me a new one. Arrived without any hassle. Anyone that claims this number is fraudulent is an idiot.

This is a legitimate number. Rang my bank to confirm it before they forwarded me. Anyone who thinks this is a scam number, I can assure you it’s not. Ring them back if you didn’t answer initially. My card kept getting denied when I was trying to order something online last night. Now it’s all solved.

They are for real. They called at 10pm last night, quoted the last 4 digits of my card number but I had to give them my member number (not account number) to verify. They also said they were from my bank and it's a smaller bank so it wasn't just a phishing exercise. Read an article this morning which made me wonder if I had been scammed but I'm confident it is all above board. They are cancelling my card and sending me a new one but they had to verify other purchases I had made so they obviously had access to my history of other charges.
