Funny thing is..last time I was 'in' NSW...I was flying over it to get to QLD...

Scam text saying they are debt recovery for NSW
I don't live in NSW and haven't been there in a long time. It says to click a link or call 1300 655 805.

It’s a scam don’t click the link, they are trying everything to scam us not that they are doing anything to try and stop it, I get so many messages from scammers it’s not funny, Cole’s points , flybuys Telstra , you name it, this is the message I got

While it’s a legitimate number for revenue it’s a fake link. With all our data being constantly leaked everyone knows everything by now.

Sent an SMS saying a fine to be paid. Link provided. Also advised to call this number. It's definitely a scam.

Scam SMS with link and phone number 1300 655 805 re overdue penalties of $109.95 due. SMS sent via mobile number 0476 503 211.

Scammers. They send you an SMS to tell you that you have a fine to pay and provide a link, or tell you to call this number. Don't do it, it's a SCAM.

Someone is sending SMS messages regarding outstanding debts, and giving a link or, if you prefer, a number - 1300 655 805 - a NSW debt recovery, possibly for traffic fines.
Be careful. The number the SMS was sent from is a mobile phone registered ro a D. Smith, who happens to,live in Qld. Look at it yourself - mine came from 61 409 481 369.
I got an SMS this morning find it a bit hard to believe the NSW govt wants me to pay an overdue fine of $109.95 , has sent me no,precious notice or requests either vial email or SMS, I don't live in NSW, haven't visited there in 20myears, have never driven a vehicle there. And why would a Mr Smith in a unit in Torquay Qld be doing this for the NSW dept of revenue? On a Sunday?
Yes, if it's a scam, some people may call the genuine NSW number but the truth is that more people will click on the provided link,, given their curiosity and it being a Sunday. A link, byt the way, which is not the genuine link for https://www.revenue.nsw.gov.au/contact

Says that it is "revenue options/ info/ fines" and advises to pay fines before due date at this number. There is also a link given in the message. Had to block it
