I haven’t been in NSW for 7 months. I’m not NSW resident. I have no fines unpaid to NSW Govt. If it was from NSW Govt it wouldn’t be “nswgovr” in link.

So many scam reports on this one. Very active right now. June/July 2024.

I got the SMS this morning and find it the NSW govt wants me to pay an overdue fine of $109.95 but right now Im a bit worried because I already click the link but have not paid anything because I have been checked the penalty number again in revenue website

Caller: It was an SMS, possible from a spoofed humber

Someone is sending SMS messages regarding outstanding debts, and giving a link to click (don't!) or, if you prefer, a number - 1300 655 805 - which is actually a number NSW debt recovery, possibly for traffic fines.
Be careful. The number the SMS was sent from is a mobile phone came from 61 474 422 466

Text states fine processing is pending but email reply address was different it was https://refenue.neeaugov.info./fines as I live in Queensland I went onto my Dept of Transport account and it shows zero outstanding fines, rego etc and it has zero fines - rang the Qld Dept of Transport here and they they advised it’s scam

4am scam text message from 0461 256 713 claiming to be NSW state revenue: provided dodgy link requesting fine payment and this 1300 number for further info. I do not live in NSW or have any fines. Delete & block.
