Caller: some from a so called bank, but very dangerous and if they get the right person they will take your money

I was called yesterday and my husband was called today same dodgy scam, the person souds so for real, but be aware dont give your money or ID!!!!! Call your bank...

Not A Scammer, Legitimate Debt collection for Capital Finance

Call me 5 times a day every day. A couple of weeks ago they called about St George and I asked more questions and they said for security reasons they couldn't release any of my "account" information. They have been recently calling. And left me a voicemail to call this hotline number back and quote a reference number. Scam.

Multiple missed calls, asking for me (by name) to call them back with a reference number. Called back one time, they asked for my name, DOB and address then told me I was not the account holder (but they called my phone and asked for me by name??) and wouldn't even tell me what company they worked for or what it was in relation to.
I have a loan with Capital Finance and I called them to ask about potential debt collection action, but they advised I was up-to-date.
Not sure if scammers or not, but to be safe I won't be calling them back again.

They called for months saying I was “9 days in arrears. When I did have my car loan, it came out automatically and was IMPOSSIBLE for me to miss a payment. They even somehow found out where I lived and sent me a letter saying I owe money. This is ridiculous.

contacted St George Bank-used to have mortgage with them. No knowledge of them. Have no loans with any finance company beyond our bank. Called at 8.20am, no identification of business-dodgy scammers, but a pain in the backside with their texting!

Call on behalf of WestpacI regarding a Holden Car , want to have my date of birth

Every month they send me n SMS from a mobile number saying I defaulted on my CFAL account. I reply to the SMS every month and tell them they've got the wrong person but they still keep doing it month after month. Does anyone know which collection house it is - I want to report them to the Ombudsman?

It's not a scam, they're calling because you owe money. If they have a wrong number, just call them back and let them know. Not rocket science!
