Robo call from, supposedly, Commonwealth Bank, asking for Katie Elbourne.
Gave option 1 for this is Katie Elbourne or 2 Katie Elbourne is here and can come to phone shortly, otherwise hold and then got a message to hvae Katie Elbourne call back on 1300 378 386.
Last time I got these calls for the same person about 12 months ago, the Commonwealth Bank said they had no such robo service calling people. the calls are relentless and come at all times of the day and night.
I have had 5 calls from this robo today, 13/3/17,
This call was from a private number, when I let it go to message bank, they gave a different number to call back on, 1300 130 107

Caller: Presumed to be the Commonwealth Bank

Same messages as received by others apart from my eventually getting through to an Australian sounding lady who said her name was "Karen", but I did not give her an opportunity to pressure me for information rather me pressuring her for more information about herself, the branch, and the reason making her somewhat flustered telling me she understood my concerns about hoaxes and scams and eventually giving her number as 1300 130 107. I have reported this to the bank security division and have a recording of these conversations.

They pretend to be CBA calling for XX YY. They ask to confirm your date of birth to proceed. I said/did nothing. When you don't reply they ask you to call 1 (03) 0037 8386. Optus advises that this number has been disconnected which seems pretty suspicious for Australia's largest bank.
This is definitely a scam.

Had a robo call purporting to be from Commonwealth bank. Knew my first name, middle initial and Surname. Asked me to put my date of birth using the digits on the phone. I did not and just waited. At the end they asked me to call 1300 378 386. I

this number has been calling for about 3 months now, usually, i let the machine catch it but today I answered, looking for my brother if I am him press 1 same deal as above
