My 94 year old mother does not owe anyone any money (neither do I), and has not made enquiries about changing her telephone company (neither have I). She was very upset when she received it.

And a little message for the first person who thinks they know it all. Baycorp and Creditcorp are two completely different companies! You probably get bombarded with so many calls because you get so much credit and never pay it back. its idiots like yourself who cause so much trouble. If you want all that money you are getting credit on without having to pay it back then go get a job or go back to school and study!

This is Bay Corp slash Credit Corp. By law, they are not allowed to leave a message stating where they are from until they make direct contact with the person in question. However, they can leave a message with their contact number and reference number to quote should you return their call.
They are also known to send text messages with reference numbers stating that it is a matter of "importance" and for you to return their call immediately. They phone on other numbers too, but usually bombard you with missed calls from private numbers.
If you do happen to answer their call, never answer yes when they say your name. Interrupt them by asking where they are calling from and their name. If you have no intention of paying your debt, then tell them that they have the wrong number lmao. Don't divulge any information, cut them off by repeating that they have the wrong number and cut them off. hahahahahaha
