A number of calls were made to our mobile number with a male indian accent then a female regarding an AGL account and asking to call Recovery Corp on 1300 number which is fake. Checked with AGL and they knew nothing about it. So it's a scam number.

They keep sending me emails, letters and making phone calls stating i owe AGL money, when i messaged AGL they stated i had paid the bill back on the 1st of march so they are unaware why this is happening

Number was listed on a suspicious email as a contact number for RecoveriesCorp. The phone number and address given in the email do not match the details on the company's official website.
Also the email originated in Amsterdam (by IP address in email header) and the company is located in Melbourne Australia??? The email address I received it on is one that has a problem with spam and other malicious emails

Called fromHidden number. Got my name and mobile number. Asked for my full name and date of birth. I refused to give it. He said he was calling on behalf of AGL. I asked him if he has any of my details . He says I can tell you your suburb. He gave me a suburb name which is at least 30 km away.i said wrong don't want to continue the conversation

Received 1300 307 497 call to mobile.
They would not provide any details re the alleged debt. Told have to give personal details before they would continue to call. DID NOT provide my details and was told they could not continue the call. Said they were hanging up ..instead sat silent on the other end listening to discussion within out house.
rang the call centre back...got the same guy! What r the chances on a 1300 number lol
