Caller: Latitude Financial Services (28 Degrees Mastercard) Latitude Financial Services now runs the 28 Degrees Mastercard, which used to be managed by GE Money. I received a legitimate text message from this number, but you should ALWAYS call the number on the back of your card instead of one appearing in a text message. It's not good practice for them to ask you to click on a link or call a number they provide. They should just tell you to call the number on the back of your card or contact them through the official website.
Background: I received a text message from this number indicating my card had been blocked and to contact them because of possible fraud activity. I did not recognize this number, and it is not listed on the card or their website, so I called the number on the back of my card to be safe. Sure enough, my card details had been used fraudulently with a website in the UK, so this was a good catch by their fraud department. New card is on the way.

Received a text today with my 'verification number' for a GoMaster card I don't have. Second message followed 10minutes later notifying me my number was updated and if I didn't make this request to call 1300 305 845 asap. I don't have a GoMaster. Ignoring and blocking.

Caller: Latitude Fraud Centre This number is the legitimate number for Latitude Fraud centre. They had blocked my card because I changed my email address online. They unblocked it when I called the number on the back of the card but they confirmed that this number is the direct number for their fraud centre.

Received a text message this morning from 'Latitude' saying my card had been blocked due to suspicious activity. I did not trust the number given and I had never heard of 'Latitude', luckily I typed in the number given and found good advice on this website. I have just rung them from the number on the back of my card and they have confirmed that my card has been used fraudulently and they are now issuing me with a new card.Too bad 28 Degrees did not send me notice of their sale to 'Latitude' as I usually ignore any messages from people I do not know!!

Dear Latitude customer, you have an internal notification. There is a link to open. It's obviously a SCAM. do not open the link.

Received a TXT message from a number claiming to be Latitude Finance stating access to my account is disabled for identity check, please click on "WEB Link" to enable access. I didn't know this financial institution existed until I received this message - I would assume this is identity thieves at work, can anyone confirm?
