This is a real number. In my case I had to pay a centrelink debt. Best of luck everyone.

I also received a txt message from 0416 907 428 saying:
"Hi, please call 1300 133 372 immediately to discuss an important matter. Quote 4489343 when you call. Thank you, Dun & Bradstreet.

Yes, I just received a similar sms from these people, I have no idea where to report it but here will have to do.

Yes i got several text then they called me but would not tell me what it was about. I find it a little distressing. i am supprised D&B dont encourage reports about this stuff

Yes, I received a text from this number to call immediately. I googled D&B number and rang that instead and they said if they ever sent a text or rang it would be after you had received a letter outlining everything. Don't know who 1300 133 372 but its not the D&B number.

Got a call on Saturday so I can't verify saying I owe centrelink $500.00. 18 months after finishing with centrelink. Last correspondence they sent me a letter saying they owed me money and now they want so e of it back. How do you ever know with centrelink. Pretty shabby if u ask me to expect to pay for something on the spot that u have no invoice for and they cannot provide one!

Got a txt from them on my mobile, rang them and wouldn't give my details over phone so they said there should be mail any day now. Why not wait until i actually get the letter?!?! I rang the company i allegedly owed money too which was my old mobile phone company (crazy johns) that got taken over by another company. I received no bill from them, paid their account out in full with the new company... I rang crazy johns up and they zero'd my account and hopefully tell DnB to leave me alone. All this drama over a $33 bill i never owed.

Getting automated msg to call them and quote Ref #----- So I call them and they expect me to give them a heap of personal info! Not bloody likely mate I tell him. Because I won't give info he can't give me info of what it's about. Okay so apparently there's a letter on the way. Dodgy business practice by them. As a foot note A lot of the "pro" comments above seem a little pigeon English to me. Just saying.

Got a call today (Saturday) saying I owe money from a centrelink debt but centrelink never tried to contact me first or them. When I asked for it to be mailed out again they said no we've already done it. Very suss

i just got a slip from DnB says urgent attention required and important.and also says they need to speak to me about an urgent matter and also gave me some kind of reference no.i know i have some debt for centrelink but but why would i receive slip in my mail from these people. i think this is fake people and they are fraud.

I have received two messages the same as above but they address two different people at the start of the message (neither of them are me). The odd thing is it is a work mobile and I have never used it for anything for myself.

Hey Guys, i also thought this was a prank but after them persisting (and me not giving them any information) i rang D&B directly who confirmed i had an outstanding centrelink debt (2 years after i thought i had been done with centrelink)...

Called Centrelink and confirmed that this was true and that D&B automatically get the commonwealth debt sent through to them... Centrelink were happy to resend me all the letters this time to the correct address, and said i can pay directly to them and bypass D&B...

The number they gave me was also 1300 133 372...

If you think it is a scam.. it might be worth chasing it up or calling D&B directly from their website.

if you would actually responded to the letters you've received following up to telegram. Bunch of losers who actually have debts and just wanna avoid paying them!

Caller from "unknown" number, announcing Sim from Dunn & Bradstreet pursuing some debt I know nothing about and asking me to divulge personal information to validate my identity. I asked for a number to call her back on. Not happy!
