Hi, I'm a nursing student who has recently done an assignment on the care of a Jehovah witness patient... Whilst I have gone to every effort to get my information from reputable sources I have been corrected by my lecturer on one point that I cannot find any information on.. And am just wondering if you would be able to confirm or deny this.. The statement she made was " if a child requires a blood product and the dr gets an order from the high court to proceed with transfusion that the parents of the child will disown the child" I have not hound any information to back this up..
