Wanted to ask about aged care for seniors and told him I'm not a senior ( even though I am ) and still wanted to ask questions. "Your asking a non-senior so not interested" and politely hung up.

Overseas scammer "Australian Health and Wellness Forum" using a spoofed (fake) number from the Philippines. Diverted to the scammer (Lenny) answering machine.

They are using a computer generated number to call - probably from outside Australia. Untraceable. If a caller never leaves a message, or spam calls you (multiple times a day) there is a good chance its a call centre. If the number is disconnected its more than likely a scam and the call came from a computer overseas somewhere. They use numbers that seem to be from Australia to trick you into thinking they are legitimate. When in doubt hang up.

Yes, same call, same type of thing. Although this caller was offering advice on comparing health insurers. Still seems like a scam to me.

As above conducting health and wellness survey. I usually don’t answer but kicking myself, I did, the survey mostly asked old age questions so nothing they could use against me but probably passing onto aged service organisations for sale purpose. Still leaves you cold! Rang back, disconnected number. They knew my number and suburb.

Another of the frequent scam calls - left no message, just hung up when it went to answering machine.

I answered and said "hello". They said "hello". Waited for them to continue, but they hung up. Had Asian accent. Probably scammer.

As usual really annoying getting these callers. Particularly as I have a silent number and on the do not call register.

Caller: "Australian Health and Wellness Forum"
The caller said he wished to conduct a health survey relating to aged care.
Called back but the number is not in service.
Almost certainly a SCAM call.

They asked fairly innocuous questions about my health. They knew my name and address. When I rang the number back there was a message that the number is disconnected.

I think they are spamming or phishing with a faked no.- they never leave a message. Like other comment, you ring back and its disconnected.
