Sadly “Don not call register” is not working as it is a “Charity”

Caller: Heather Thomas fund-raising centre

I've received multiple calls from several numbers from this same woman. She left a voicemail saying her name is "Heather Thomas", but previously she has called herself, "Lizzy Dent", and another name that I can't remember. Fake sweet voice trying to scam money from me. Previously she asked for money for domestic abuse victim supply packages, and I had to interrupt her relentless and disingenuous spiel to tell her I was a victim. She's a scammer and con artist.

Did not leave a message. I don't know anyone in WA, Waroona area.

Continually calling but won't leave a message. number now blocked

Caller: "Melanie Stephens"

"Melanie Stephens" is the same caller as "Heather Thomas" and "Lizzie Dent"

Also getting daily calls from some woman who calls herself "Heather Thomas". It's obviously a recorded voice because there is a big lapse between answering my sentences which it does not really understand. There should be a national campaign where tv commercials are aired telling people about the various scams and to not listen to them. Phone carriers could fund such ads since the scammers use their numbers to call people. It's the vulnerable and elderly that suffer the most from these calls!

Yep same.Just had some charity call.Caller identified herself as Heather Thomas but sounds EXACTLY the same as Lizzie Dent.Sickly sweet voice.Simply hung up on her and once again blocked another number from them.

Unknown number that keeps calling, did not answer & it keeps going to messagebank but never any message left. BLOCKED!

Missed call, constant ringing, I don't answer and block, then it rings again with a slightly different number

Caller: Charity Scammer

“Female” caller with pre-recorded voice lines that utilises voice recognition to analyse what you say and responds accordingly. If it doesn’t understand what you are saying then it either says “that’s nice” and hangs up or it plays a voice line that says the line is bad and repeatedly says hello before it says it will call you straight back then hangs up on you and doesn’t call back (until the next day with the exact same pre-recorded voice lines). Today I told her I like turtles which was amusing.

Keeps calling but does not leave a message, very annoying.

Caller: Your community

Came through as suspected spam - still answered it.... calling from 'your community' did offer to make donation, she said that she will transfer me through to her supervisor to take the payment - sounded weird. Hung up on transfer as I couldn't find enough information to confirm they are a registered charity before handing over the credit card. I don't mind supporting registered charities, but this was one I had not heard of before.

Called and left no msg. I do not know anyone in WA especially in waroona where this call apparently comes from. 7th number had to block in a matter of days

Came through as a "suspected spam". Did not recognise the number, did not answer call, did not let it go to voicemail - they hung up. Number now blocked.
