Same called,left no message, called back and just voice mail message.

i had a missed call from this number this afternoon. When I called back it went to message bank for Samantha at The West Australian

I suggest the number is from the subscription sections of the West Austrlaian. I regulary enter competitions through the web to win competitions which is where they usually get the number from. So I don't think this is a scam, rather something to just say not interested and dont call again!

I had a call from this number with someone claiming they're from the West Australian newspaper. They said they got my details from my 'regular participation in their competitions' and, as such,wanted to offer me home delivery of the west at a reduced rate. All I needed to do was sign up and give them my credit card details (I didn't). I don't read the West nor have I ever participated in ONE of their comps.
I suspect this number is a scam.

Has anyone recently had calls from this number?
It is always calling after work hours.

Did you work out what they wanted... they've called me every day this week so far and haven't left a message once - I tried calling back a bunch of times and it keeps going through to a message bank for Samantha at The West Australian newspaper.If it's for something boring I'll stop trying to ring her back.. hahaha
