Caller: Someone pretending to be ATO

Scammer stating I had outstanding tax debt. I said I received nothing on mygov. He hung up. I’d received a prerecorded American accent voicemail stating I’d be arrested which is the only reason I called back.

Pre recorded message stating that I’ll be arrested if I don’t call back. Checked this site, and my initial thoughts were confirmed. Scammers. 🤬

Robotic voice stating "the reason behind this call... lawsuit being filed under your name..." blah blah

Caller: Fake ATO

Just got another call from the “tax department” wanting to arrest me again! Nice one Scammers!

didn't answer,they left an automated voicemail saying they will issue an arrest warrant if I don't call them back...sounds legit.. not

a recording saying it was the taxation office and I needed to get back to them otherwise a warrant for my arrest will be issued
