Automated voice said it is from ATO and ask to return call to their department.
SCAM!

Same as above. Said I will be arrested if I don't call back and was from the ATO. Haven't people got better things to do with their lives.

As above, left voice mail re: court charges. Called back (knowing it was a scam) they asked for my details , asked who it was and they hung up.

Yeah was a robo call. Said a lawsuit was going to be filed against me by the tax department. Gave me a number to call them on but I missed it. Called them back and a lady who sounded Chinese asked me about it. She said some company name but I didn't understand her. Anyway, good to see it was a scam!

Caller: Indian woman, called herself Nina Olsen

Told me they had opened a court case against me, even gave me a case number. I told them I would be taking them to court.

ATO does not contact people this way. It is a scam. Do not respond to this automated scam call.

I just received the same call, she was very pushy wanting to know why I have lied to the ATO and I needed to pay or I will spend 5 years in jail.

Same as all the others. said if i dont call back they get an arrest warrant and "get me arrested". Robot voice. English not good.

Robo Voice message reads to call back urgently and if not you will get arrested

I got this call, it was an automated voice they told me that tey were from the tax dept. and by accepting this call there is now a warant for my arrest.

same as above. The number is on my mobile so surely Telstra or Optus can trace this call and advise the police.

I received a call from this number yesterday, I am waiting for them to arrest me and sent me to jail

I have never given my number to ATO but still getting this prank call.

Automated voice call saying there is an arrest warrant for me and if I don't call back I be arrested! I tried to call back and there was no answer. Figured its a scam. You can't summons someone by phone, it needs to be in writing.
