Caller: Robot male voice from ATO

Stated from ATO and if didn't call back there would be a warrant for my arrest organised - number was (08) 9467 9605. I didn't call back but wondering how they got my number - nuisance

Dodgy robot voice man, as above, saying there was a warrant for my arrest from the ATO. Reported it.

received an automated call from (08) 9467 7644 - thought it was odd so i googled it and found these results.

I got this same call but from the number >> (08) 9467 7866

Scam threatening legal action from ATO

These are fake Aussie Tax Office Scammers. Only call them if you want to waste their time. They asked for $1950 worth of iTunes cards, lol. Surely staff at Woolworths would get suss if you try to buy that much?

Could be scam as said it was ''Australian Federal Police with message from Tax Office.''
Rang it back and got ''invalid number or incomplete'' message

Recorded message from a "representative of Australian Federal Police" telling me that they are coming to arrest me due to tax evasion. I listened to the full message just for the giggles.

Voice message

Saying ATO and that you have debt and committed fraud and warrant out for your arrest and to contact the number as quoted above.

I was told to ring this Australian Taxation Office number or else I would be imprisoned.

Supposedly to warn me that a warrant for my arrest had been issued from the ATO. As if the Federal Police would give anyone a heads up! Block the number and ignore.

tax office does not complain to other people about you, obvious known scam, try to ask you to pay outstanding amount over the phone, do not give then any credit or bank details

i called back number (08) 9467 7644 rang 5 times then goes to busy tone.
