From Rio Tinto, HR and I'm 90% sure its from India. I had them as a pre-screening call, not an interview. Felt scripted and you could hear what sounded like a call center in the background. Seems legitimate as they asked me questions about a job I applied for. They gave me a different call back number.

Any land line used to dial externally from Hope Downs 4 shows up this number. If you call it back it says "disconnected"... hopefully this reminds you of who might be calling you and you have their mobile number handy. So this is not a Spam number.

I called back number (08) 9424 7000 rang 3 times then gets disconnected automatically.

This number is a general 'switch' number for Rio Tinto so if you dial it, it will likely say disconnected or unavailable - you need the actual direct number of the person or department you are wanting to speak to.

Same thing, number disconnected.

I got two missed calls one after the other today, first was unknown and second was this number.
No voicemail was left and an attempt to return the call resulted in my phone stating that the number is invalid.

I keep getting a call from this number but when I answer it disconnects straight away.  Who is it?  Does anyone know?

Hi I keep getting the same and when you call it back it says that it is disconnected do you know what it is? my calls are at like 9:40 at night time.
