I'm getting that missed calls from that number too for the past almost a month now it kept calling my mobile and I call back and its busy and i'm starting to get angry and I did registered Do Not Call from Australian Government site...and now its starting to get my nerve to tell them stop calling me!

I have been getting calls from these clowns every half hour without fail, glad i found this site.
I'll just continue to ignore them.

They called me and made some offer. When I asked them if they were really Telstra or a contractor, they hung straight up in my ear. Very rude and unprofessional. And try to complain to Telstra about it!!! If you can navigate the endless voice menus!!!

I got this too...been happening the last couple of weeks.  i have not answered it as i don't recognise it and there's no message for me...so screw them..i googled it and found this thread.  can't we make a police report or something?

My son had a few missed calls on his mobile from (08) 6210 2300 & (08) 9424 4700 & then he answered a call from (08) 9424 4700 which freaked as all out.  This was the conversation:  Son: Hi whose this?  Man: How old are you? Son: 13  Man: shouldn't you be in school?  Son: No, I finished 10 mins ago  Man: Oh Yeah.... Your mum wanted me to call you to see when you're getting home  Son: No....I'm with my mum  Man: Oh.  Then my son hung up.  We reported it to the police who can't do much unless he gets more calls & then it becomes stalking.  We also reported it to his school & were very distressed about it thinking it may be a pedophile & does he know our son or is he ringing random no's?  My son couldn't sleep in his room.  I searched for this 08 ph no in google & came up with another site before finding this one.  The other site is: http://209.85.173.104/search?q=cache:rKf5Dqxq ... clnk&cd=1&gl=au  and also:  http://209.85.173.104/search?q=cache:C7z-L2Se ... clnk&cd=2&gl=auIt's a forum where people are complaining about annoying phone calls from Telstra with the same 08 no's that my son received.  It also specifies:  "the calls are coming from TSA telco Group based in Perth; www.tsagroup.com.au They are contracted by Telstra to do this."  But there obviously must be some sico there who made the call to my son & Lisa (who made a comment here on 31/1/08.  I feel like reporting this to a current affair or Today Tonight.
