I called back the number (08) 9308 2079 and the lady on the other line said I reached Australian Electoral Commission

Said he was from the AEC. It sounded sus so I told him to write a letter and hung up. I then rang the AEC on the number listed on their website and found the call was actually genuine.

Job offer for AEC asks for date of birth to put into database says she works in Cockburn Office AEC and for the education department as a teacher something is off She answered return calls they didn't go to anyone else but her.

I didn’t bother calling back but I expect a msg to be left if the caller is on official business and no msg was left
