Told me I was involved in a motor vehicle accident.
I told them I was, and I died in the accident.
They hung up.....

Phoned at 10.38am 15May 2018. I didnt know number so didnt answer. Only rang for 10secs or so?

Asked if I was the person involved in a car accident recently.
I said no, they said maybe a family member? I said no.
I then asked who was this?? and they hung up.
The number 92941821 appeared on caller ID

When I answered, there was no one. I called back and the answering machine said the number is not in operation. Definitely scammers. The police should stop these people asap.

scammer - 'accident investigator' supposedly we were in a car accident .... so for fun went along with this and he said we will get $10,000 to $15,000 compensation

(08) 9294 1821 telephoned our business approx 1.45pm 17 May 2018. We have caller display and don't answer calls when number is with held. If genuine they can leave a message, 99% don't. Answered this number because it was displayed. Nobody spoke. Tried to call back a short while later and received the message "Optus advises that the number you called has been disconnected" How do these scammers manage to call from a number that is no longer connected? Suggest DON'T BOTHER TO ANSWER.

I called the number back, the recording said "the number you have called is not connected".

Scam callers, we automatically divert them to our "unwanted caller" answering machine and let them try to scam that. Scam the scammer!

It is about time federal government done something about this cancerous abuse eating away at Australians being harassed day in and day out by scyumbags

Hung up in my ear when I answered. What a prick.

Sounded Asian. My number was dialled by a machine, a pause, then a number of voices talking in the background then anAsian sounding voice said "Hello".

Caller: Accident investigation team

Scan phone call claiming to be someone from Accident Investigation team. Incessant calls from this mob on different numbers, multiple times a day.

enquiry about any car accidents within the past year - sounded like a known scam (see below) so I gave no information.

Spam 2 missed calls

Called introducing themselves as an accident investigation agency and asked me if I've had a car accident in the last two years. When I said no they politely said ok thanks and hung up. Seems a bit dodgy to me..
