Caller ID displayed number as (08) 9286 3892. 4 x calls today from this number. Caller identifies themselves by name and as being from Telstra. I called Telstra and asked them directly, they confirmed that this is a SCAM. Telstra recommend that you block this number or Do Not answer. Telstra recommended that if you are contacted by these SCAMMERS to report the number to: https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/report-a-scam

Tired of this number calling my home phone in Victoria and hanging up.
If this isn't a member of the Moore household then you need to let Telstra know that your number has been hijacked.

Caller ID displayed this number as (08) 9286 3892. This number has been calling at least once a day. Audible background chatter on pick up. If you do not give any verbal response on pick up, caller hangs up. If you say "Hello" the caller launches into a "cheery" very scripted sounding greeting and then details offers of anything from Telecommunications to Solar panel Rebates. The caller is very persistent that they are NOT selling anything, only offering. SCAMMERS! Just called again ... "Roger" from the Technical department at Telstra wanting to help us with our phone line difficulties ... bye Roger! What is the point of being on the Do Not Call register if these Numpties can get around the regulations? Calling Telstra and reporting them.

Caller ID displayed this number as (08) 9286 3892. Audible background chatter. Caller identified themselves as a Telstra Technician wanting to "help" us with our Computer. Interesting that the number seems to trace back to a domestic landline. Possibly been hacked and the number is being used to send out scam calls.

Rang up twice and we picked up the phone each time. But the caller hang up! Why bother calling a minute apart when you haven’t got anything to say?
