Continual calls from (08) 9274 8638 let the phone ring out then they try me on a03 number. Tonight I answered for the first time in weeks in a really cranky manner as we are being inundated with rain with and severe weather situation. Yes they did not respond and hung up on me. Best to be aggressive to them they cannot handle this. So glad they hung up. Ready for the next call and I will have the same attitude.

They don't need to get your number from anybody. All the need to know is the format of Australian numbers. They can then set up a computer to call a number, then increase by 1 and call again and again until they complete the whole number series.

Called me , Indian accent , asked if any body over the age of 50/60/70 in the house . So my reply was no .. She then asked how old I was? so I said 48 ... I'm nearly 53 , then she said thanks for your time and hung up ... now added to my growing caller barred list

I received one of those calls today. She had an accent and said that she was from the women's health forum. Very persistent asking questions re my health, my age and my husband's age. She had my surname and address.
I am also on the DNCR. She saud that sge was calling on behalf of a government aged care forum. I had answered add ome of her questions before I realised that it was probably a scam.
These people are looking for ways around the DNCR which doesn't work anyway. I get calls all the time but if I adk what their abn number is they hang up.

Got a call from these idiots today just another scam trying to get personal details

Have been receiving calls from (08) 9274 8638 foreign sounding lady very hard to understand. Try to phone back and cant get through as number is incomplete.

Tried calling back after their phone call, and got the message "The number you have dialled is incomplete or incorrect...". They shouldn't be able to make it look like a South Australian number! They had our surname and address without me supplying them, but asked for our first names.

Man with foreign accent called from this number claiming to be doing a survey on behalf of the Australian Seniors' Research Foundation. He didn't/couldn't answer my questions about the organisation so I said I wasn't interested.
When I dialled the number back I got a message saying my call could not be connected.
Very suspicious.

If you see this number come up on your phone...reject the call...just another parasite call centre looking at different ways to extort money indirectly from innocent, decent, hard working people - these guys are the lowest form of life on / off the planet.

Someone called who I could hardly understand and talked about seniors survey. It was a Western Australia number but must have come from O/S. I told her
to get lost and hung up. These calls give me the dry rot. Do not call register is not working, never has and not worth the money it costs to run it. IT DOES NOT WORK.

Clearly a scam.

If they call you, do us all a favour & report the number to the AFP or Scamwatch.

They phoned, went to messagebank. No message left. After reading these comments, won't bother to return the call.
