Caller claimed to be from Telstra, I asked to confirm he was a telstra employee and he said yes, clearly an outright lie.
Typical scam trying to gain control of your computer by claiming to have the "CLSID" of your system (ALL windows computers have the same CLSID number, so it's not exclusive to your computer).
Upon challenging him further (I was using a Mac) he simply hung up.
Typical Indian call centre background noise with freelance scumbags running their own scam.
