Yes, I had these too.
Jumped straight into the "Do you have a mortgage?" question before even saying where they were from. When asked, they claimed to be calling on behalf of the Aust govt and claimed that money ordinarily paid in tax can be used to offset any mortgage I may have, and all I needed to do was answer a few questions and an associate would call me back with an outcome.
I "may" have told them in no uncertain terms that I was not providing any info and they hung up on me.

(08) 8538 5011 called me 27 April 2017 around 10am and shortly after.
An Asian voice claimed to be from the Australian Banking Association
and then started probing me for information.
This is a SCAM.
Put on my # barred list.

Claimed to be calling from Australian Bankers Assn. Called them scammers as I hung up and they called again. Did not answer. Called the number back and no one answered.
