Caller: (08) 8470 6959 How do you have a right to call do not call numbers? You don't and it's illegal. Stop calling people who don't want you calling them. Do not call register is because people like us don't want your dodgy call centre calling for surveys to be asked... plus no one ever speaks which is even more annoying. Go away you're a pest.

Caller: McNair Yellow Squares? Multiple calls that always disconnect if answered. If this is genuinely a market survey company that's calling, the calling procedure is appalling and I would not trust any survey results that McNair Yellow Squares produces. Avoid this mob.

Hi there "McNair yellowSquares Pty Ltd". I read your explanation. You may be "permitted to call both silent numbers and numbers that are on the Do Not Call Register" and we may "request not to be called by us - you can either answer and let our interviewer know you no longer wished to be called or you can call our 1800 669 133" but here's another option: If I don't answer your call after 3 times, then I'm probably not going to answer after a 4th time. Oh look, that's exactly what happened. Please learn to take a hint and don't make it my responsibility for you not to call me.

Caller: McNair yellowSquares Pty Ltd If you receive a missed call from this number, it is likely that we were trying to contact you to participate in one of a variety of surveys we are conducting.
In most cases calls are made randomly to landlines or mobile numbers across Australia. In some cases when we call mobiles we will first need to check if you live in the area in which a given survey is being conducted.
While none of our surveys are compulsory, our clients and ourselves appreciate your participation. In order to ensure that our surveys are representative, McNair yellowSquares is permitted to call both silent numbers and numbers that are on the Do Not Call Register. However, you may request not to be called by us - you can either answer and let our interviewer know you no longer wished to be called or you can call our 1800 669 133.
All telephone surveys conducted by McNair yellowSquares may be monitored or recorded for training and quality control purposes. Respondents have the option to discontinue the survey at any time.

Caller: McNair Surveys These people have been calling me for 3 weeks, usually twice a day... I have never answered and have blocked their number but it's showing daily in my call list as blocked call... It's harassment and they need to be stopped... It says in a comment t above from them that they are allowed to call all numbers even ones on the Do Not Call Register... I didn't give them permission to call me so therefore they don't have permission...

Whilst you say that you are permitted to call numbers that are listed on the do not call register, I am fairly certain that calling my 82 year old father 3 times in 24 hours and again after my faher advised that he was not interested in particpating in your market research survey harassment. You will be reported for the frequencu of contact and continued harassment!

Caller: McNair Surveys I have read their post about how they are conducting anonymous surveys Yes i understand that this could happen - ring once. No reason to ring ten f*cking times over four days, you seem like an ex. I blocked them after the first call and checked my recent calls to find another nine attempts which my phone thwarted.

I got a call from McNair and it was a serious survey about Government Health policy. Opinion gathering is a vital function in a democratic society which people should support in the interests of the common good.

McNair Yellow Squares are breaching the legislation for the number of times they are able to contact potential participants. Regardless if whether your name is listed on the do not call register or not, you are not allowed to harrass people by contacting them 3 times in a 24 hour period. Especially after being advised that we do not wish to participate. By the comments on here you are causing people undue stress in your approach. It should not be up to others to email you to advise that they do not wish to be contacted! That is absolutely ridiculous. Stop breaching the rules and stop the harassment!
