It does not cost money to leave messages. It may cost the receiver money to retrieve messages depending on what plan they are on. Would be very helpful to leave a message as most times when returning a call, there is an automated message - which DOES cost us money!

Personally, I think charity is NOT getting anything in return, you know... you GIVE. Hence the F&ckn word charity...... I will also decide when my fiances allow me to give. Not some random stranger calling me up demanding my hard earned money.

Since I am not able to be put on their do not call back list as they are a charity. I have decided any cold caller goes on MY DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH list. Two unwanted calls and my wallet snaps shut.

These guys are a charity ... its one of the few ways they can raise money cheaply ... yes its annoying but it must be very annoying having Muscular Dystrophy too!

calls every 3 months or so for their charity lottos... happy to buy a ticket... even have had several 6 packs of South Aussie wines show up on my door step, as well as a new ipod and a flat screen tv.... all prizes from being kind hearted and spending a little to help others in need.

I think it's the Muscular Dystrophy Association too. They have similar numbers and take turns in calling constantly.

This number and another similar no have called. I rang back but no answer. It is one of the reasons why I don't like answering blocked phones or even answering the phone at home. One strategy I have been using is to hang up if no one answered immediately as it often means that it is an automatic call.

What part of "do not call " do they not understand.
