Caller: Debt Collecter Credit Corp

Said I have a debt from an unnamed service provider offering me a repayment plan. Not me I said. Looked them up, they're a debt purchaser from banks, telcos, utility providers and the like and they hound you for the debt that they bought. They also add stuff to your credit rating without you knowing. In my case, their info was wrong, they had the wrong Carol Grant because it was a QLD debt and its been 10 years since I was there.
I'd expect them to do their homework correctly before scaring the daylights out of me.
