This number is Origin energy's "WE f*ckED UP BUT WE WILL NEVER TELL YOU THAT" number. You just have to wait for them to call you back or just call 132 461 and tell them the "try to fix a f*ck up" team tried to call you.

This number is on Origin's "Specialist Consultant Customer Services" Department. You get a call from these "Specialists" if you refer your complaint to EWOV, or your relevant state energy Ombudsman. I'm not sure what type of "specialists" they are, but I suspect it is in dishonesty, deception, badgering and attempting to get you as a customer to pay more and more each bill, despite your usage remaining stable.

It's origin. Don't ever go with Origin if you don't have to. They stuff you around so badly. The only positive is they have Australian staff when you call up and they are friendly but it stops there...

I had a call from this number this afternoon after a few well documented calls with their call centre at Origin, Origin then pretended not to even know of this number on a callback. They presumptively assumed, even though there was no contract emailed to me, that I was going to get a gas bottle delivered. I have been out off this company and am now sticking with our other and current supplier. They didn't let my current supplier know that I was changing over. They really did stuff up in my opinion. Not impressed.

Got a phone call from someone claiming to be from the Hardship Department. When I queried the strange time - Saturday morning - the rather blunt sounding person informed me to ring 132461 to verify that she was from Origin. Of course it is no secret that Origin's customer service number is 132461. Of course when you hear that it is Origin you will not bother to query it again should the 08 number contact you again. BUT.... when I asked customer service to put me through with the person I was told no one from that department worked there on a Saturday and to ring during business hours. The person who rang me sounded very gruff and was blunt to the point of rudeness, not someone I expect to be appointed to the hardship department of any business! All very suspect, but if this is indeed an Origin number then I suggest that Origin chooses their employees a bit better!

i just got two calls then. so i typed it in google and this popped up. KOOL!when i call back it is engaged

I keep getting calls from this number. Its always engaged when i call back which i think means only outbound calls can be made from that number. Might be a telemarketing thing. I've had about 6 calls from this number in 2 days each one i have missed due to my phone being on silent. Wish i knew who it was.
